USE "CAN" WHEN...

First mean for the word "Can", and I did'nt know that, is this:

These are some cans

No, Isn't Soda. It's a can of soda,  can of coca cola, among others.

But, the word 'can' can be a verb. A modal verb.


"CAN" - VERB

We use "can" or "can't" (verb + not) to express a possibility, permission, if something is possible or impossible, for ask help, abities or skills, fisical capacity.

For exemplo:

If a person is caught doing graffiti, it can be arrested and prosecuted under the criminal damage.

Can = possibility

Can = Permission

Can = Ability or Skill
